Dr. Ahmed Aidoo, MD, MPH is the founder specialist of All Florida Family & Sports Medicine. He is board certified in Family Medicine Physician and Fellowship Trained Sports Medicine.

Dr. Aidoo’s medical journey began with his graduation from Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa School of Medicine in 1998. Following that, he earned a Master of Public Health degree at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his residency in Family Medicine as Chief Resident at St. Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center in Chicago, IL, affiliated with the University of Illinois. He moved to Florida, to further his expertise with a training in the Sports Medicine Fellowship program at the Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, affiliated with the University of South Florida (USF). During this period, he served as the Team Physician for the USF Bulls. His passion for sports, particularly football and soccer, has been the driving force in his pursuit of a career in sports medicine.

Dr. Aidoo is nationally recognized for his commitment to the medical profession as a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Academy Of Family Physicians. Dr. Aidoo has demonstrated a commitment to community service by voluntarily serving as a Team Physician for Osceola High School’s football team (Kowboys) for about 10 years, culminating in their State Championship Final Game in Tallahassee in 2020. During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in October 2020, he collaborated with Kissimmee City Commissioner Mrs. Angela Eady to conduct free COVID screening programs in Osceola county.

His passion for excellence and a patient-centered approach to medical care, led him to have served as Chair of Medicine from 2019 to 2021. Dr. Aidoo currently holds the position of Chief of Staff at Orlando Health; Saint Cloud Hospital and has affiliations with multiple local hospitals, including HCA Florida Osceola Hospital and AdventHealth Celebration Hospital.

Voted as the Best Doctor by Patients’ Choice in 2011, Dr. Aidoo attributes his success to strong faith and family values. Married to his lovely wife, Laila and blessed with four children; Aisha, Sumayya, Amina and Abdulaleem. Dr. Aidoo actively promotes and recommends regular physical exercise, a healthy lifestyle and he loves to travel purposefully around the world.

Research : Dr. Aidoo’s paper “Knowledge and Exercise Habits of Primary Care Resident Physicians” was published in the Exercise and Sports Medicine Journal of the American College of Sports Medicine.
